Trust us, we know how daunting it can be when you’re just starting the search for a therapist, and we know how defeating it can feel when you have tried to get in to see multiple therapists, but it seems like no one’s able to take a new client.

We’ll help you get started

Our goal is to make the process as smooth as can be for you. Our team is happy to assist you in finding the right therapist for your needs.

Yes! You can use your insurance benefits to cover mental health therapy services. We currently accept a variety of insurance policies with most major carriers.

Not every health insurance policy includes mental health benefits. Please check with your insurance company to verify active mental health coverage as each policy will vary in terms of which services are covered. Check the back of your insurance card for a phone number you can call for assistance.

We also offer affordable cash-pay options and sliding scale rates on an as-needed basis for those without insurance.

Of course, you might be wondering what to expect your first appointment. During your first session, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and goals with your therapist. It’s a time for us to get to know you and for you to learn more about our therapeutic approach.

The industry standard length of therapy sessions is 50 minutes. Your therapist will likely end the session around the 50-minute mark in order to wrap up any administrative needs like documentation or scheduling the next appointment.

Yes! We offer the option for online appointments. Virtual therapy sessions are conducted using a secure, HIPAA-compliant software for your privacy and confidentiality. Teletherapy services are a great option for clients who prefer to meet online, or those who have barriers that prevent them from being able to come in to the office. Your comfort and convenience are important to us.

A Superbill is a document which can be submitted to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement. If you have “out of network” benefits, your insurance may pay you back for therapy services you paid for with providers who are considered “out of network” on your plan. Superbills include:

      • Provider’s License type

      • Contact details of the provider

      • Diagnosis code(s)

      • Service procedure code(s)

      • Provider’s Tax ID

Therapy with us is meant to be accessible. That means we work with you to find the best way to get your needs met without a financial burden you can’t afford.

Use Insurance to pay for therapy

We accept most major health insurance plans as this is often the best way for people to access therapy that’s affordable. If you have mental health coverage, it’s typical for insurance to cover most of the cost, leaving a small copay as your out of pocket amount for each session. Copays often range from $10-$40 making your therapy appointments affordable. We always recommend that you check with your insurance to verify how much your copay amount is if money is tight.

Sliding Scale Therapy

Each of our therapists also see a limited number of “sliding scale” (AKA reduced rate) clients. Schedule a FREE 15 minute consult and ask about the best option for you.

Not Sure Where to Start?

If you're new to therapy, schedule a free 15-minute consultation with a licensed professional.

If you or someone you know is having a mental health emergency, please call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room. You can contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 or visit https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org.
